Over the past couple years of Covid I have picked up a couple hobbies of Reading and different types of art. I have always loved art and when I was younger, I really enjoyed comic books. Last year in grade 7 I had Mrs. Wedel for a teacher and she recommended books to me. Since grade 7 I have read over 100 books and I’m currently reading a 6 books series called ‘the Lunar Chronicles’. Reading and Art have become my biggest hobbies and I do both in my free time. Sketching is the form of art I am most talented at but I enjoy painting and digital art as well.

ABC of Me

My favorite thing to do whenever I have the chance is Art. I have always loved to draw and paint. One time I drew a picture of a Baboon for my cousin, Ava. My family owns a Cabin near hundred mile and we go there a lot every year. During the summer at night the sky fills up with Dragonfly’s chasing smaller bugs around for food. MY dad is an amazing cook and cooks a lot of breakfast consisting of Eggs. I spend a lot of time with my Family and friends. One animal that creeps me out are Geese, on multiple occasions I have been chased by geese just because I looked at them or went to close to them. My mom, brother and I have been re-watching Harry Potter and are currently on the third movie. A song that is often stuck in my head is “In the jungle”. July 23 is my birthday, right in the middle of summer when everyone is busy! My best friends name is Kiara and she now lives in Abbotsford, she just moved about two weeks ago. I live in Chilliwack BC, Chilliwack is surrounded by Lakes and big Mountains. I currently have a dog named Finley and she is always Napping in the oddest places. One animal that intrigues me is the Octopus, Octopuses can camouflage, regrow limbs and spray ink when threatened, they are truly amazing! Pizza is one of my favorite foods along with spaghetti and perogies. I am currently reading the book series “ Red Queen”. I got an interest in Reading at the beginning of Covid and have read hundreds of books since. At the beginning of Covid my family and I were stuck up at our cabin with our neighbor that is terrified of Snakes. Another of my favorite foods is Tacos. “Under the sea” is another phrase that is often stuck in my head. My favorite types of books are ones where characters start to Vanish out of nowhere and the main characters solve the mystery. During Covid one of the things everyone tells you is “Wash your hands”. Xebec, is a word I never knew existed and means “a small three-masted Mediterranean sailing ship with lateen and square sails.” I am not a huge fan of Yam. and a question that confuses me a lot is “are Zebras black with white stripes or white with black stripes?”
